Our AAMI Level 4 surgical gowns are made of spunbonded polypropylene coated with a layer of polyethylene film. Depending on the preference the seams are either sealed by tape or ultrasonic stitches.
AAMI standards require a surgical gown to pass ASTM F1671 in the critical zones such as Front Chest, Sleeve Seam and Sleeve and Front Belt attachment point if it is on the front of the gown.
