SMS is a 3 layered fabric. The middle being Melt Blown polypropylene while the top and the bottom layers are spunbonded.
Adding reinforcements to the front and arms of the SMS Surgical Gown the gown becomes suitable for operations involving moderate amount of fluids/blood.
